METAL BUILDING WARRANTY AGREEMENT
This Warranty Agreement (“Warranty”) is issued by Elite Carports to the original purchaser
(“Customer”) of the metal building identified in the Customer’s purchase documents.
This Warranty becomes effective on the date the building installation is completed
(“Effective Date”).
1. WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY – 365 DAYS
Elite Carports warrants that all installation and workmanship performed on the metal
building is free from defects for a period of 365 days from the Effective Date.
This Workmanship Warranty is valid only if:
● The building has not been altered, modified, moved, or structurally changed in any
way after installation.
● The building has been installed on a suitable, level, and properly prepared foundation.
● The Customer has maintained the building using reasonable care.
This Warranty does not cover:
● This warrant includes, but is not limited to the following.
● Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, storms, weather events, natural disasters,
or acts of God.
● Damage resulting from settling or shifting of the foundation.
● Damage caused by attachments or modifications not performed by Elite Carports.
2. 15-YEAR RUST-THROUGH WARRANTY (STEEL FRAMING)
Elite Carports warrants that the steel frame components of the building will be free from
rust-through deterioration for 15 years from the Effective Date.
This warranty covers:
● Rust-through (penetration of metal due to corrosion) on structural steel components.
This warranty does not cover:

● Surface rust, cosmetic rust, or rust resulting from scratches, chips, or customer-caused
damage.
● Rust caused by direct contact with chemicals, salt, fertilizer, corrosive materials, or
standing water.
● Rust resulting from the building being altered, modified, or relocated.
3. 10-YEAR PANEL FADE WARRANTY
Elite Carports warrants that the exterior metal panels will not experience excessive fading
or chalking beyond industry-accepted standards for a period of 10 years from the Effective
Date.
This warranty covers:
● Noticeable color fades beyond standard tolerances under normal environmental
exposure.
● Chalk levels exceeding industry norms.
This warranty does not cover:
● Fade or damage caused by pressure washing, harsh chemicals, or improper cleaning.
● Fade caused by severe environmental exposure including coastal salt, industrial
chemicals, or pollution.
● Damage caused by scratches, abrasions, or customer-applied coatings.
4. GENERAL CONDITIONS
The warranties provided herein are valid only for the original purchaser and are
non-transferable.
These warranties are void if:
● The building has been moved from its original installation location.
● Modifications, attachments, or structural changes were made after installation.
● Damage results from negligence, misuse, improper maintenance, or external forces
outside of Elites’s control.

5. EXCLUSIONS

These warranties do not cover:
● Weather-related damage including wind, hail, snow load, flooding, lightning, or
natural disasters.
● Normal wear and tear.
● Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect structural integrity.
6. CLAIM PROCESS
To file a warranty claim, the Customer must:
1. Contact Elite Carports in writing at __________________________.
2. Provide proof of purchase, installation date, and photos of the issue.
3. Allow the company reasonable time to inspect the building.
If covered, the Company will repair or replace the affected component at its discretion. No
cash refunds are provided.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Elite Carports liability under this Warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of
covered components. Elite Carports is not responsible for incidental, consequential, or
indirect damages of any kind.
